Who is Relaying

Relaying helps cancer patients become cancer survivors. American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life both celebrates and helps patients, caregivers, and families overcome the hurdles to recovery. Thirty-one Hope Lodges across the United States, volunteer drivers ferrying survivors to treatments, and the Look Good… Feel Better program connect volunteer beauty care professionals with survivors improve their self-image inside and out — all are a part of a network of people dedicated to easing the path to recovery, and fundraising makes all of this possible.

Who is Rallying

Food Truck Rally for Life seeks to celebrate those restaurant on wheels we love so well and fundraising for a good cause. Ten to 15 food trucks will park at the Colonial Promenade, 3972 Town Center Boulevard, Hunters Creek on September 21 and October 19 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Eat from the food trucks you already love and a portion of proceeds from the Rally will benefit the American Cancer Society. Here are some handy food-trucking tips:

  • Tote Tailgating Gear (i.e., Folding Chairs, Tables, Blankets, etc.)
  • Think Budget Gourmet at $6 to $10
  • Some Credit Cards Accepted, but Cash is King
